
Harsheila shares her own journey to burnout, the tools and techniques that helped her to heal, and her insights on how to prevent burnout in the first place.
Burnout is a state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion caused by prolonged or excessive stress. It can manifest in a variety of ways, including fatigue, irritability, difficulty concentrating, and decreased productivity. Burnout can also lead to physical health problems, such as headaches, stomachaches, and insomnia.
Harsheila experienced burnout firsthand when she was juggling a demanding career, motherhood, and other personal commitments. She felt overwhelmed, exhausted, and unable to keep up with the demands of her life.
“I was so tired,” Harsheila says. “I couldn’t sleep. I couldn’t concentrate. I was just going through the motions.”
One day, Harsheila had a breakdown. She realized that she needed to make some changes in her life in order to avoid burnout altogether.
Harsheila began by taking some time for herself. She started exercising regularly, eating a healthy diet, and getting enough sleep. She also started practicing meditation and yoga.
“I needed to learn to take care of myself first,” Harsheila says. “I couldn’t give to others if I didn’t have anything left to give.”
Harsheila also sought professional help. She worked with a therapist to identify her stress triggers and develop coping mechanisms. She also learned how to set boundaries and say no to commitments that she didn’t have time for.
“It took time, but I eventually learned to manage my stress and overcome burnout,” Harsheila says. “I’m now happier and healthier than ever before.”
